In late June or early July, we apply a systemic product designed to reach the roots of grass plants, exactly where grubs are located.
This highly effective treatment remains active for the rest of the growing season.

Signs of Grub Damage

A lawn that is infested with grubs can show several signs of damage, including:

Dry turf that is gray-green in color

Grass that wilts rapidly in the hot sun

Large, irregular dead patches of grass

Turf that feels spongy

Grass that can be rolled back like a loose carpet

Myths Surrounding Grubs

Skunks, raccoons, opossums, moles, and other predatory mammals will dig in your yard searching for grubs, earthworms, and other insects. If you do find evidence of these animals tearing up your yard, it’s best to confirm there is a grub infestation as there are several reasons animals may be interested in your property. Grubs are only active from late August through early October. If you spot signs of lawn damage or animals digging in your yard outside of this time frame, it’s most likely some other culprit that is attacking your lawn.
